Mental Health Services

The mental health program bridges the gap in services between the autism service community and the mental health resources that exist in our communities. We believe that appropriate mental health services and support to this population is key to helping individuals reach their full potential. Our values are grounded in resilience, trauma-informed care, compassion, and autonomy.

The mandate of the counselling program is to work with clients to enhance and promote the positive well-being and mental health of individuals, couples, families, groups, and the communities through a collaborative, multicultural, and wellness perspective. The counselling team assists clients facing transitions, sexuality and gender questions, decision-making, family and social relationships, and mental health concerns through a range of counselling modalities.
