Who is TIPES?

TIPES is a team of trained professionals, supporting children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders including Autism and/or related exceptionalities.

Why?

TIPES was founded to help support children with Autism and or related exceptionalities and their families. TIPES was founded as a charity to help raise monies in hope of decreasing the cost of therapy.

What?

TIPES is a non profit organization that caters to children of all ages with exceptionalities. TIPES has created 3 goals to better the support for the children and their families.

  1. 1. Decrease the cost of professional therapy
  2. 2. Increase the number of proper professionals working with these children
  3. 3. To provide therapy/programming to children with more than one exceptionality and to children of all ages

Where?

TIPES has a clinic in Kanata and also works across the city in the children’s homes. TIPES works with children from the Ottawa area as well as Lanark County, Leeds & Grenville and Kingston area.

When?

TIPES was first founded in June of 2007. TIPES offers services from 8am to 4:30 pm. Programs run Mondays through Fridays. Social skills groups are offered on Saturdays when posted.
